1. Estimates & Pricing Notice

 

 

All fares, travel times, and distances quoted during booking are estimates based on current traffic and mapping data. Final charges may vary due to actual route taken, wait time, detours, or passenger-requested changes. RDUTaxi reserves the right to adjust the final fare accordingly.

 

 

 

 

2. Definitions

 

 

  • “Service” refers to RDUTaxi’s transportation services, including online booking, dispatch, SMS notifications, and related features.
  • “User” refers to any individual or organization using RDUTaxi services or accessing rdutaxi.com.
  • “SMS Messaging” refers to text messages related to bookings, reminders, billing, and updates.

 

 

 

 

 

3. Use of Services

 

 

By using RDUTaxi’s services, users agree to:

 

  • Provide accurate information during booking or inquiry.
  • Use services only for lawful, personal or business-related transport.
  • Avoid unauthorized access, tampering, or disruption of our platform.

 

 

 

 

 

4. SMS Terms & Conditions

 

 

 

4.1 SMS Consent Communication

 

 

We do not share SMS opt-in phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.

 

 

4.2 Types of SMS Communications

 

 

Users who opt in may receive:

 

  • Appointment reminders
  • Follow-up messages
  • Billing inquiries
  • Service updates

 

 

 

4.3 Message Frequency

 

 

You may receive up to 3 messages per week depending on your bookings or service status.

 

 

4.4 Potential Messaging Fees

 

 

Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan. Rates may vary for international vs. domestic messaging.

 

 

4.5 Opt-In Method

 

 

You may opt-in by:

 

  • Submitting your phone number via the online reservation form
  • Calling or texting us with your consent

 

 

 

4.6 Opt-Out Method

 

 

You may opt-out at any time by replying “STOP” to any SMS, or by contacting us directly at contact@rdutaxi.com or (919) 214-0475.

5. Booking & Reservations

 

 

  • Valid Time/Date: Reservations are only valid for the specified time and date.
  • Flight Delays: Customers must notify RDUTaxi of delays exceeding 1 hour. We will do our best to accommodate or reassign drivers as needed.
  • Pickup Services: We provide private, non-stop transportation using sedans, mid-size SUVs, and full-size SUVs.
  • Airport Pickup: Curbside pickups are offered where airport regulations allow. Customers must call/text upon luggage retrieval for driver instructions.
  • Meet & Greet: Optional service for $50 (or $100 for Mercedes Sprinter). Driver meets inside baggage claim with a name sign.

 

 

 

 

 

6. Short Notice & Hourly Bookings

 

 

  • Short Notice: Bookings within 2 hours are not guaranteed but will be accommodated when possible.
  • Hourly Charters: Require a 3-hour minimum and at least 1-hour advance notice.

 

 

 

 

 

7. Fees & Charges

 

 

  • Waiting Time:
    • Domestic: 15 min free
    • International: 30 min free
    • Point-to-point: 5 min free
    • Overage: $1.50/min (Sedan/SUV), $2.00/min (Full-size SUV/Sprinter)
  •  
  • Cleaning Fee: Charged for spills, pet hair, or messes. Assessed by the driver based on severity.
  • Credit Card Fee: 3.5% surcharge applies to credit/debit transactions.
  • Promo Codes: Only valid through rdutaxi.com and cannot be combined with other offers.

 

 

 

 

 

8. Payment & Cancellations

 

 

  • Accepted Payments: Credit/debit, cash, or other methods listed at booking.
  • Booking Confirmations: SMS or email confirmations include driver info and trip details.
  • Cancellations: Free if made at least 72 hours before pickup. Late cancellations may be subject to full charge.

 

 

 

 

 

9. Special Accommodations

 

 

  • Accessible Vehicles: Available upon request for passengers with mobility needs or service animals.
  • Children: Must be accompanied by an adult. $5 car seat fee applies when required by law.
  • Unaccompanied Minors: Riders under 16 must be with an adult.
  • Pets: Must be in carriers unless a service animal. Please notify us in advance.
  • No Smoking: Smoking or vaping is prohibited in all vehicles.

 

 

 

 

 

10. Limitations of Liability

 

 

RDUTaxi is not responsible for:

 

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or force majeure
  • Loss of personal items left in vehicles
  • Unauthorized use of your account or contact information

 

 

 

 

 

11. Privacy & Data Usage

 

 

Use of RDUTaxi is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and protect your data. Your contact information is never sold or shared without consent.

 

 

 

 

12. Modifications to Terms

 

 

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of our service implies acceptance of the latest version. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
